Sheryl Leysner has an interior architecture studio under her own name and creates art lights and furniture as Ruwe Bolster. We first started working together more than 15 years ago. Now we have redesigned and rebuilt her websites from the ground up: two distinct sites on one shared technical base.
Sustainability and upcycling are central to Sheryl’s work. Her interiors feel warm and open, with big gestures and a playful touch. Large-scale photography is the best way to get that across on a screen.
Every Ruwe Bolster art light is unique and made from upcycled materials. As with her interiors, the photography takes center stage on the website.
Ruwe Bolster’s collection of lamps is always growing. Many visitors come from Instagram, where a post can’t link straight to a specific lamp. Filters and a live search help them quickly find the one they saw.
